Elmo Birthday Card
Our little Donny will turn 4 on the 9th. Hard to imagine. So I needed a special birthday card just for him. He LOVES Elmo. Here's a quick card – really quick
Card Stock: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Whisper White, So Saffron
Punches: 1 1/4 Circle (119861), 3/4" circle (119873, page 202).
Big Shot: Scallop Circle (113468, page 207), 3 Circle Original Die 122125, page 39 Occasions Mini 2011)
I made this an actual card by folding a piece of card stock cut 4 3/4" x 9 1/2". When I ran the card stock through the Big Shot on the Scallop Circle die, I lined it up just below the top 5 scallops so it wouldn't cut clear through. Now I have a card that opens!! Neat, eh?
I cut the 3" Circle Die and then trimmed off just under half of it for the mouth. The nose is 1 1/4" So Saffron popped up with dimensionals. The eyes are 1 1/4" Whisper White with 3/4" black.
