Elegant Sympathy Card

I haven't had time to do any creating this week – but taxes are done and that's a big relief.

Here's a card I made recently and wanted to share.

Stamp Set:  Close as a Memory (114946, page 52)

Card Stock:  Basic Black, Very Vanilla Textured Card Stock, Designer Paper from the Guest Book Simply Scrappin' Kit (115697, page 166)

Ink:  Basic Black

Embellishments:  Filigree Brad (112577, page 179)  Basic Black 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (115605, page 183)

Big Shot:  Texture Plates Backgrounds #1 (114512, page 195), Circles #2 Original Die (114526, page 202)

Punch:  Ticket Corner (107214, page 186)

I used the Circles #2 die and cut out all 4 circles.  I then distressed the edge of each circle, sponged the edges in black with a sponge dauber and crumpled them up.  I straightened them out and added a 3/4" circle in basic black and a filigree brad.  Simple flower, but adds a nice touch!!
