Double Dutch Fold Card

I made this Double Dutch Fold Card for our club meetings in January – LOVE this fold – it's fun, easy to do and very attractive.  I hope you will try it soon!  I have a little tutorial for you below!  Let me know if you have any questions!

I LOVE the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set and the coordinating Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper – so many possibilities with this fold – and I'll be sharing more I made

Card Stock:  Soft Suede card base 4 3/16” x 9”; 8 ½” x 2”

Whisper White 5 ¼” x 4”; 3” x 2”;

Blushing Bride 4 1/16” x 3 3/8”

Mint Macaron 2” x 1 7/8” (2); 3 ¾” x 2 ¼”

Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (140557) 3 15/16” x 3 ¼”; 1 7/8” x 1 ¾” (2)

Instructions:

1. Score the Soft Suede card base at 5 ½”
2. Score the 8 ½” x 2” piece at 2 1/8” and 6 3/8”
3. Adhere the 8 ½” x 2” piece to the bottom of the card base on the longer side (see picture)
4. Stamp sentiment in Mint Macaron on the Whisper White 5 ¼” x 4” and adhere to the inside of the card
5. Adhere the Blushing Bride 4 1/16” x 3 3/8” to front and the Birthday Bouquet DSP 3 14/16” x 3 ¼” on Blushing Bride
6. Adhere the Mint Macaron 2” x 1 7/8” pieces to the front panels of the 8 ½” x 2” piece and the Birthday Bouquet DSP 1 7/*’ x 1 ¾” pieces on the Mint Macaron
7. Stamp the ice cream cone and “Oh Hello" in Soft Suede on the Whisper White 3” x 2” and cut out with the Lots of Labels Framelits
8. Cut out the next larger Lots of Labels Framelits in the Mint Macaron 3 ¾” x 2 ¼”
9. Adhere the sentiment on the Mint Macaron and onto the front of the card – letting about 1” go below the bottom of the front piece. This will help hold the card together.  Don’t put adhesive on that part!!!
10. Adhere the Honeycomb Embellishment to the ice cream! This embellishment has a piece that you peel off to stick down one side and then open up and stick down the 2^nd side!  I say this because I didn’t realize they had adhesive and used glue dots on the first one I used!!  You can learn from MY mistakes!
