Cruise Class Project #7 – Instructions

This next project was fun – I made it for Father's Day, but the stamp set (Best Dad Ever) also has Happy Birthday!  Excellent "manly" card. 

Love the way the "red" tie stands out.  It's actually mounted on the inside of the card

 
Supplies used:  Crumb Cake card stock ( I cut it 4 1/2" x 11" and then cut off 1 1/2" from the front). Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso

Stamp Set:  Best Dad Ever (W 120399, C 120681, page 13 Summer Mini)

Step 1: Stamp Ties on 4" x 2 1/2" piece of Whisper White Card Stock

Step 2.  Stamp one tie on Cherry Cobbler and cut out with snips.  Add Basic Rhinestone (119246, page 198) to front of Cherry Cobbler Tie

Step 3.  Layer Whisper White with ties, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler and tie a piece of Earl Espresso Baker's Twine (123124, page 10 Summer mini) around all three pieces.  Adhere to front of card.

Step 4.  Stamp greeting on 5 1/2" x 2 1/2 Whisper White and adhere Cherry Cobbler Tie so that it will show on front. 

Step 5.  Layer Whisper White, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler and add to inside of card

Done!  Another simple card, but really great for the man in your life
