Big Shot Projects – Fabric Flowers

One of the Make 'n Takes that Shelly shared with us at the Big Shot class was the Big Shot Fabric Flowers.  These were SO fun to make.  LOVE Shelly's idea

Stamp Set:  Smarty Pants (115070, page 152)

Card Stock:  Whisper White, Baja Breeze, and Designer Fabric Candy Cane Christmas (121715)

Ink:  Real Red

Embellishments:  Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon (117286, page 191), Whispe rWhite 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (119262, page 191), Big Designer Buttons in Not Quite Navy,  Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine (123125, Summer Mini page 10)

Punch:  Decorative Label (120907), 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850, page 202)

Big Shot:  Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die (120893), Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (117335, page 214)

We used a 1 3/4" Circle cut from the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (120805).  Shelly folded a piece of Designer Fabric in half (about 18") and then ran it through the Tasteful Trim die.   We then adhered the fabric around the adhesive sheet circle to make the flower, starting on the outside and going around and around until we covered the whole circle.  We adhered the button with crystal effects to the center of the flower.

What a fun card!!  Love the saying "You're never too old to do Goofy stuff".
