Back from the Stampin’ Up 2013 Convention
WOW – what a week we had at the Stampin’ Up 25th Anniversary convention – it was spectacular. They really outdid themselves – 5800 demonstrators. What a madhouse at times!!
The projects, new products, prize patrols, displays etc. etc. were fabulous. We came home with at least seven stamp sets and other freebies.
Here's the stash we brought home
New products? YES – there will be a new envelope punch maker coming soon – it will retail for $19.95 and will be available sometime in September. It is AWESOME. Has a little hidden compartment for a bone folder – and a corner rounder. Has ALL the measurements for any size envelope on the front side!! We saw it in action and it’s fabulous!!

And available August 1st are the Thinlits Card Dies – WOW – makes fun, swingy cards SO easy to make. There are two of them for now – Décor Labels and circles. They retail for $32.95 and coordinate with lots of our stamp sets!! Can’t wait to get them and try them!!
These are the "Z" fold cards and are "swingy". Such fun!! These will be available to order on August 1st!! Can't wait…..
And…..UNDEFINED…..now that really was amazing. You can make your OWN stamps. It comes in a kit and you can carve your own stamps – want a stamp you have never been able to find? Just do it yourself. You can purchase refills too. Amazing. Shannon West did a piece of bacon – it was really fun to watch. I know, I’m NOT creative either, but this might be fun to try sometime.

At the convention Stampin' Up announced a wonderful deal. If you are a new subscriber, you can order My Paper Pumpkin for two months for just $10 a month! What a deal. You receive a box with everything to make the project (s). This includes, stamps, ink spots, card stock and embellishments. You just have to provide the adhesive! One of the perks of being an award winner was the Recognition Room. I was able to be in there and took a picture – we could relax, have something to drink and enjoy some candy and have our pictures taken

Another great part of convention is meeting lots of new friends. I have corresponded with a demonstrator from New Zealand for years, and she let me know a good friend of hers was coming. Sharlene Meyer even did a demonstration. And I found her and met her!! What a treat!
It was great fun to travel to the convention with my daughter Heidi. We had a fantastic time
Our first "stop" was the Stampin' Up Campus Tour – we were able to tour the home office – see where we call in when we need to and check out the warehouse!
