Another Valentine’s Day Card

Here's a beautiful card we did in a workshop recently!  It's actually quite simple, but all the elements come together to make a stunning card.  Yes, I cased this card and changed it a bit to suit my needs 🙂

 
Stamp Set:  XOXO (WM 121909, CM 121973, page 6 Occasions Mini 2011)

Card Stock:  Real Red, Whisper White, Love Impressiosn Specialty Designer Series Paper (121780, page 7 Occasions Mini 2011), Glimmer Paper (121790, page 7 Occasions Mini 2011)

Ink:  Real Red

Embellishments:  Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon (117286, page 191)

Punches:  Full Heart (119883, page 202), Small Heart (117193, page 202) 1 1/4" Square (119865, page 202)

Big Shot:  Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit (117332, page 215), Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips (121809, page 28 Occasions Mini 2011)

I ran the Whisper White Card Stock through the Framed Tulips Embossing folder.  The DSP squares are back with a piece of real red card stock cut 2 7/8 square.  I ran another piece of whisper white card stock through the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslit and then cut out the full heart in the Glimmer Paper and mounted it on the whisper white heart – gives it a wonderful scalloped frame!!  I stamped the XOXO Hugs and Kisses directly onto the whisper white and tied the Real Red Satin ribbon around before mounting it on the Real Red Card Stock Base.  I poppe dup the small heart with dimensionals.
