Jack-O-Lantern Gift Card Holder

Always fun to have gift card holders around for any holiday.  I made up this really cute one I found here on Jennifer Blomquist's blog.

Supplies:

Card Stock:  Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Old Olive

Ink:  Platinum Shimmer Paint (116807, page 195)

Big Shot:  Frame Oval Scallop Bigz Die (114521, page 207)

Punches:  Large Star, Large Oval, Large Scallop Circle, Curly Label, 3/4" circle, Modern Label

This was absolutely FUN to make.  I used the shimmer paint to outline the eyes, nose and mouth.  You can't cut through two layers of cardstock with the punches, so I took a "bite" out of the top and then outlined it with a pencil and cut it out with scissors (as suggested by Jennifer)

Here's a picture of the gift card holder

And the back of the holder

The spider is made with the 3/4" circle punch and the Curly Label punch!  The stem is with the modern label punch and is the handle to pull out the gift card holder!

What fun – isn't he just the cutest?  Now who to give it to??

Thanks for looking
