Two cards at once – Two Tone Flora Die

I shared this really neat idea using the Two-Tone Flora Die

Here's the die I used

Capture

As you can see, this is a very intricate die, so I wanted to share a couple tips

When you add your die to the Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, turn it on an angle – don't send it straight through the machine

Then run it back and forth at least 4 times.

With that method, I used the brush tip on the Take Your Pick tool and the "chads" came right out!

Here's the cards

After cutting out the die, place it on a piece of Basic White cardstock behind it

I used my Starparatus to hold down the paper and used the small Blending Brushes to add color to  the flowers and leaves (see below for the colors)

Once you have covered the entire piece, you now have this piece to put on a card front AND

you have the "negative" piece for another card front!

Neat, eh?  (I saw this somewhere, but now I can't find it to give credit!)

Note also the Granny Apple Green ribbon in the first card?

We don't have that, so I was able to color the White Crinkle Ribbon with the Stampin' Blends

You can have any color you want!!

Measurements for both cards

Basic White Thick Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Basic White 5 1/4" x 4"
